Under the framework of “Social Media’s Influence in the Nordic Countries” (April 24th, 2025 – December 31st, 2025), and in partnership with the European Union, our project followed a structured workflow.
The objective of the project was to strengthen the company’s international growth capabilities by developing a scalable and data-driven approach to influencer collaboration within the social media industry. The project focused on understanding how successful influencer partnerships are formed across different markets, particularly in the Nordic region, and on building a technology platform to support these processes. The aim was to move from fragmented and experience-based collaboration practices toward a structured, data-informed model that enables efficient and repeatable international expansion.

During the project, comprehensive market research was conducted across the Nordic countries (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Iceland), as well as in selected larger international markets, including the United Kingdom and Romania. The research included mapping client base, competition and identifying key decision-making factors influencing customers when entering partnerships. As a result, the company developed a clear and validated understanding of both shared patterns and market-specific differences in influencer behavior and collaboration dynamics.

Through this analysis, it was identified that larger markets such as the United Kingdom and Romania are highly competitive and saturated with established global players. Based on these findings, a strategic decision was made to prioritize the Nordic markets as the primary focus for initial expansion, where the company’s localized approach and network-driven model provide a stronger competitive advantage.

In parallel, the company successfully designed, developed, and piloted its own technology platform. The platform enables centralized management of influencer relationships, data collection, and communication processes. Through pilot testing with selected users, the platform was validated in real-world use, demonstrating its ability to significantly improve efficiency and scalability in influencer collaboration.

As a result of the project, the company has transitioned from a locally operating model to a scalable, internationally oriented business with a clear competitive advantage based on data, technology, and market-specific expertise.
